The extensive redesign, led by Page architects, preserves the building's classic modern lines while introducing a new Class A image. The updated design incorporates natural stone, wood, textured glass, and stainless steel, giving the building a refreshed yet timeless appearance. The exterior enhancements include the re-cladding of three stories of the façade in Virginia Mist granite, a sophisticated dark natural stone that contrasts with the existing travertine above. Slot windows complement the existing architecture, highlighted by a continuous band of LED lighting. The glass curtain wall is recessed, featuring brushed stainless steel fins and a louvered canopy at the corner entrance on 811 Louisiana, Houston, TX. The sidewalk pavers have been replaced with silver limestone, transitioning into a spacious new lobby with a reception area designed for informal meetings. Wood veneer walls distinguish the elevator lobbies, while backlit glass doors brighten the spaces. The gold-leafed ceilings have been updated with clean white gypsum and modern LED lighting. Textured glass feature walls and a light installation above the escalators draw attention from the tunnels, signaling the arrival at 811 Louisiana, Houston, TX.
